Have a gander around some glorious gardens next weekend.
Eight of Great Gransden’s prettiest gardens will be open to the public for the Garden Gander, which has now been running for five years.
The gardens will be on show on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15 between 1pm and 6pm.
Teas, with delicious homemade cakes, will be available in the Reading Room, where there is also the opportunity to buy copies of the Gransden Recipe Book.
In the various gardens there will also be a stocked plant stall, an exhibition of crafts, and the historic village church will be open.
Visitors are asked to choose their own routes around the gardens.
All eight gardens have entrance programmes on sale for £5 per adult (children under 12 free). which admits visitors to all gardens.
For those who do not want to walk the entire route free lifts are available on a vintage bus, which will be travelling around the garden route on both afternoons, just flag down the driver.
Funds from the Garden Gander will go to help maintain the thatched Reading Room.
