Will it be football fever in this town?

Two new football pitches will be built if a planning application is approved.

On Wednesday Central Beds Council’s development management committee will discuss Stotfold Town Council’s application to construct two pitches, toilets and 30 parking spaces.

These would be on 25 acres of Central Beds Council-owned land to the west of Stotfold, west of Larksfield Surgery on Arlesey Road.

Existing access to the site would be used. The Public Protection Officer has raised concerns about the potential noise level. Planning officers suggest permission is granted.
