Woman admits club theft charge

A woman must pay compensation to a football club after indicating a guilty plea to a theft charge.

Nancy Wakeford, 38, of Biggleswade appeared at Bedford Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 28.

She was ordered to pay £570 to Biggleswade United FC and £85 in costs after admitting the offence of theft by an employee.
