Grab your neon outfits and get ready to get moving for charity!
A neon fitness night will be taking place at Sandy Sports Centre on Saturday, August 2 to raise money for St Johns Hospice.
The event, which will feature a mix of body combat and dance routines, is being held in memory of former Maxwells’ hairdresser Kirsty, who died of cancer in March.
It is being organised by Laura Mosley and Natalie Darnell.
Laura explained: “She had so many friends. That girl was just one of those people who was always smiling and cheerful and made you laugh. You just found yourself howling. She was so clever and she would just say funny, clever things. She really was amazing.
“She loved group fitness and a good boogie. It’s all about having a big laugh and having lots of fun.”
There will be a bar at the event, which runs from 7pm to 10pm.
But Laura was keen to stress that people can take breaks whenever they like – and don’t have to take part in the whole three hours!
Tickets cost £5 but are limited to 200 people.
