Potton Music Festival takes place this weekend and it is sure to be an exciting event.
The festival, which celebrated its tenth anniversary last year, has become an established part of the summer calendar.
The 2014 festival promises a thrilling new programme, once again with the musicians of the Marais Ensemble along with outstanding guest string players.
The ensemble brings together six principal players from the major orchestras.
The festival comprises of three main concerts in Cockayne Hatley, Potton and Sutton, the traditional family concert at Burgoyne Middle School, and a late programme on Saturday evening.
There will be two concerts at St Mary’s Church in Potton. They will both take place on Saturday at 7:30pm and 10:15pm respectively.
In addition to concerts during the festival weekend, the Marais Ensemble runs education workshops in local schools and gives concerts in community venues including residential homes and pre-schools in the Potton area.
