Something for everyone


There is plenty of musical entertainment going on this weekend in Chronicle Country.

On Friday evening those who go to The White Hart in Biggleswade can enjoy Nick Moyster Acoustic and his range of covers from 9pm to 11pm.

Also on Friday, The Scallywags, a rock and roll covers band, will be on stage at The Roundabout Club in Sandy from 9pm. The event is free.

The music continues on Saturday as Dirty Torque play at The Gardeners Arms in Biggleswade from 9pm to 11:30pm.

Dirty Torque are a combination of three very experienced musicians who play high energy blues rock with an edge.

The Rockface Band will be playing at the Potton and District Club from 9pm and entry to the gig will cost £2.

The Golden Lion in Clifton will also see some musical entertainment on Saturday night as The Iconics perform. They are a ska band who serve up a high-energy mix of covers from the 1970s and 1980s.

The band will be on stage from 9:15pm to 11:45pm and can be enjoyed by all for free.
