Village music festival and proms rounded off with fireworks

Villagers in Cople will be hosting their own music festival and proms this weekend.

CopleFest, on Saturday, August 6, will run from 2pm until 10pm, with a full programme of music.

Classic jazz, soul and pop duo Milligan and Pay open the event at 2pm on the acoustic stage, with first up on the main stage at 2.30pm is rock covers band Corruption.

The music continues into the evening with a proms finale at 9.40pm, followed by fireworks. Admission is £5 for adults, with children under 16 admitted free.

Cople Sports and Social Club host a live and unhinged acoustic night, tonight, Friday, August 5, doors open 6pm, as a festival warm-up.
