This picture was taken way back in 1935 in the days when Shefford held annual hospital parades with proceeds going to Bedford Hospital.
Note the old shop front W B Moss and Sons Ltd in the background.
The name entered by G Squire and Sons was Widdicombe Fair, complete with old rocking horse tied to the roof of the car.
From left to right are: George King, Frank Perridge, Alan Wilkie, George Mobbs, George Squire, Bill Urin.
On top of the car is Bill Squire as Uncle Tom Cobbly.
