A clubber was overcome with emotion when Prince Harry planted a smacker on his cheek when he met him in a nightclub.
Rocky Bennett, 21, of Sandy was on a night out with friends at Liquid and Envy in Stevenage when he saw the Prince, currently third in line to the throne, come down from the VIP area.

He approached Prince Harry who was with army friends and was surrounded by several bodyguards, and after buying him a drink he was repayed with a kiss and a hug.

Rocky of Winchester Road, Sandy said: "I was in Liquid just partying away when all of a sudden we heard that Prince Harry was in there.
"It was just rumours at first, but then we saw him walk down from the VIP area to the main bar.

"So I just went up to him and said 'can I buy you a drink?'

"He just shrugged and said no he was alright, but I said 'no, it would be an absolute privilege to buy you a drink,' so he said yes, and I bought him a Stella Artois.

"I was a huge fan of his late mum Princess Diana so I said to him 'your mum would be very proud of you' and he gave me a cuddle and a kiss on the cheek, it was amazing.

"I just turned around and burst out crying, it was the best moment of my life.

"You just never expect to meet a Prince and especially in those circumstances."

It is thought Prince Harry had been training at RAF Henlow and went to Stevenage for a night out afterwards.

It is believed he went for dinner first, then onto nearby bar Chicagos before heading to the popular night spot in the Leisure Park.

Around 3am he then headed over to McDonalds to sock up the alcohol where he is said to have ordered a quarter pounder with cheese.

Rocky, a petrol station manager at Somerfield in Sandy, added: "He was so lovely, really down to earth.

"I think he was quite wasted, but he was still talking to everybody."
