Pictures of school pupils' day at Biggleswade farmers' market

Youngsters from St Andrew's Lower School in Biggleswade enjoyed the tastes of Bedfordshire when they visited the town's farmers' market.

The reception year children visited the market on Wednesday as part of a project organised by the county council's Tastes of Bedfordshire scheme.

As part of learning about living and growing they were given the chance to see local foods and speak to farmers and producers, as well as being given produce from the stalls to make up a goodie bag.
