Unless you live in Broom that is!
Broom stepped back in time at the weekend for a Civil War re-enactment event.

The two-day training event was held by the Sir Thomas Tyldesley's Regiment of Foot in the field behind The Cock Inn in the village.

Talks on the regiment were also given, as well as a number of history living talks and demonstrations.
