David Grummit sent in this picture of a float at Biggleswade Carnival and said: "I was driver of a coal wagon owned and operated by Ellis and Everard (Travis Perkins) in Biggleswade when this photograph was taken.
"I am the skinny bloke in the overalls and peaked cap on the left of the picture."
He believes the float was displayed between 1960 and 1964 by Biggleswade Youth Club which used to meet at Lawnside off The Baulk.
The picture was taken in Stratton Way and the float was a 'send up' of Dr Kildare – a popular TV programme at that time.
Standing on the float wearing glasses and engineers' overalls is Arthur Darlow, while the young lady in the front nearside of the cab is Margaret Chamberlain from Broom.
The two were later married and David believes they went to live in Peterborough.
He does not recall the others' names. Can any readers help?
