Blunham to face Biggleswade in East Beds Shield final

Blunham will take on Biggleswade in the East Beds Senior Shield final on Wednesday, July 20.

They beat Potton by 58 runs in a one-sided match to ease into the semi-final. However their scheduled opponents Waresley have conceded giving Blunham a bye to the final.

Blunham batted first last Thursday and made 107-6 off their 16 overs, Connor Heaps scoring 36 and Michael Pickard 40. James Howlett took 2-15 off four overs.

When Potton batted, only Dan Hall got into double figures and they were all out for 49 in 11.4 overs, with Michael Pickard taking four wickets for 19 off 4 overs.

The final at Ickwell starts at 6pm.
