On a difficult early season pitch Clifton did well to reach 168-5 off of their allotted 40 overs. They were indebted to skipper Dan Good who carried his bat for a patient 47 and to Adam Ryan who blasted a rapid fire 36.

Scott Spicer was his usual steady self with 2-18 as he, and fellow slowy Pete Gatrick, 1-19, controlled the middle overs.

However the twin pace attack of Jack Brown 5-8 and Lewis Bridger 4-10 blasted through the Henlow batting order to skittle them for 26 in just 12.1 overs.

In Division One Old Warden posted a competitive 171 total at home to Pilgrims Oakley, Dominic Mawdsley top scoring with 42.

However Pilgrims batted steadily to pass that target in the 44th over.

Langford suffered a heavy ten wicket defeat at Steppingley.
