Waresley make it four league wins on bounce
Waresley made it four league wins in a row on Saturday to move into midtable in the Tucker Gardner Division One.
Put into bat by bottom side Blunham on a wet wicket and slow outfield, Waresley slowly built the innings to finish on a respectable 181-5 from their 50 overs.
Skipper Tom Griffiths (52*) led the way, supported by Charlie Lewis (34) and Jake Allcock (37). For Blunham, Geoffrey Fitzgerald (1-21) was the most economical bowler.
