Wet weather hits cup midweek schedules

The wet weather has wreaked havoc on midweek fixtures in the Heritage Cup and East Beds Senior Shield.

In the Heritage Cup Langford’s match against Flitwick was rained off on Friday and has been rearranged for this Friday, July 1.

Waresley conceded their semi-final to Potton on Monday.

The final was scheduled for July 1 but will now be played next week on a date to be confirmed once both finalists are known.

In the Senior Shield quarter finals Ickwell’s game against Waresley fell victim to bad weather for the third time, and is now re-scheduled for Monday, July 4.

Potton Town will play Blunham in the other outstanding quarter final on a date to be confirmed.

In the U18s Competition first round Southill U18 are due to host Flitwick U18 on Friday, July 1.

Ampthill U18 v Blunham U18 will take place on Monday, July 4.
