Arlesey open campaign with two defeats
Arlesey Town have begun their league campaign with two defeats after losing 2-1 to local rivals Kempston Rovers on Tuesday.
After a goalless first half at Arlesey Jack Vasey put the hosts in front just after the break.
But The Walnut Boys, newly promoted to the Southern League Division One Central, were level just three minutes later through Ashley Fuller and Sebastian Simpson hit the winner just past the hour.

On Saturday they were well beaten 3-0 at Marlow. Anaclet Odhiambo and Chris Ovenden put the hosts in front by half time and Phil John added the third for a comfortable win.
Arlesey host Barton Rovers on Saturday and visit Histon on Tuesday.
