Mr Adams played football for Northampton and since retiring has taken the helm at Wellingborough Town and Bedford.

Mr Nunn expressed his delight on Twitter and said: “I’m sure he will be a massive asset to Biggleswade next season.”

New opponents for Waders next season are starting to become clearer following end of season play-offs. St Ives Town will join champions Kings Langley in promotion from Division One Central while Banbury United won the Division One South & West play-off, joining Gloucestershire side Cinderford Town in being promoted.
