The trip to Devon meant an 18 hour day for the Waders, ten spent on a coach. However it was made a great day out thanks to the presence of Town’s loyal followers, the Green Army, all kitted up and singing from the off.

It meant a relaxed atmosphere for the players, down to the bare bones with only 12 players travelling.

The game itself lived up to billing as a fairly meaningless end of season affair - Bideford were already relegated and Biggleswade a comfortable mid-table. The game was more friendly than combative and the green Army were in fine voice matching the noisy home choir.

Chances were few and far between and nobody wanted to ruin the day by scoring.

Second half chances for the Waders fell to Craig Daniel and Evan Key while Kevin Squire hit the post for Bideford.
