Hatch nets as Arlesey beat Luton

Arlesey Town knocked Luton Town out of the Beds Senior Cup with a 2-1 extra time win at the aRMadillo Stadium on Tuesday night, writes Mike Simmonds.

With the scores 1-1 after 90 minutes, Hatch, who works for the Hatters as Football in the Community Officer, broke clear to score moments after the restart.

The hosts deserved their triumph too having led for long periods after Chris Marsh’s first half goal, only for Luton to level late on through James Dance.

Arlesey will now face Barton Rovers in the next round.
