Mason returns but Nunn wants to bolster Waders squad

Biggleswade Town boss Chris Nunn is hopeful of adding to his squad for their promotion push this season, writes Mike Simmonds.
The Waders currently occupy the final Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central play-off berth and Nunn believes bringing in some extra experience would only help their cause.
He said: “We are looking to add one or two players to the squad as I would like a few more experienced payers ahead of the push to the end of the season.
“I am aiming quite high, players from a higher league who maybe aren’t getting a game.”
Waders’ promotion push has been checked recently by the freezing weather.
They were without a game at the weekend when their clash at Slough was postponed, while a similar fate befell Tuesday night’s visit to Uxbridge, although Biggleswade beat St Neots 3-0 in a friendly on Wednesday evening with goals from Luke Knight (2) and Craig Daniels.
One good thing about the enforced break means that 12-goal Joel Mason is now available once more for Saturday’s clash.
