Nunn wants Waders to make history

Biggleswade Town boss Chris Nunn has urged his side to rewrite the record books when they travel to Barton Rovers tomorrow, writes Mike Simmonds.

The Waders have never done the double over their near neighbours but won the home game 5-2 back in November.

Nunn said: “It’s a derby, we’ve never got the double over them and we beat them at home, so it’s a chance to rewrite the history books.

“They’ve got some good lads there, it will be tough for us and we know we’re going to have to be at our best.

“We’ve won there once in about 12 visits, so it’s not been a good hunting ground.

“Over the season if you ask me five games that are going to be tough, one of them will always be away to Barton.”

Craig Daniel (knee) should be fit for Saturday, Luke Knight (groin) misses out though, while Andrew Iwediuno is not back for three weeks.
