Pre-season football on the horizon

The Waders visit Yaxley, while United play Haverhill Rovers on the 3G pitch at Linton Village College.

Biggleswade Town continue their pre-season at home to Wealdstone on Saturday, July 16 and welcome St Neots on Tuesday, July 19.

Following that Waders make the short trip to Second Meadow to face Biggleswade United in a town derby on Friday, July 22.

On Sunday, July 24 Biggleswade Town host Aston Villa and follow that with a trip to AFC Kempston Rovers on Friday, July 29.

On Saturday, July 16 United visit Cogenhoe United. before their first home fixture on Tuesday, July 19 against Ware. After their meeting with the Waders, United are then at home to a Stevenage XI on Sunday, July 30.

Arlesey Town’s pre-season begins at home to Stevenage on Saturday, July 9 and follow that with more home fixtures against Hemel Hempstead on July 14, Leighton on July 19 and Dunstable Town on July 23.

Stotfold begin their pre-season schedule at Buntingford Town on Saturday, July 16 before a home fixture with FC Romania on Tuesday, July 19.

They host Barton Rovers on Thursday, July 21 and then go to Stanway Rovers on Saturday, July 23.

Three home matches follow - against Eynesbury on Tuesday, July 26, neighbours Stotfold on Tuesday, August 2 and Old Bradwell United on Thursday, August 4.

Potton United travel to Steeple Morden on Saturday, July 9 before hosting Peterborough Sports on Tuesday, July 12 and Ely on Saturday, July 16.

Potton visit Foxton on Saturday, July 23 and go to new SSML Division One side Biggleswade FC on Tuesday, July 26.

There’s a local derby for Potton at home to Gamlingay United on Friday, July 29 before they welcome Godmanchester Rovers on Tuesday, August 2.
