Rivals set to clash in final friendlies as Spartan SML confirm league fixtures

Roker Park is the venue for the meeting between the two sides, the final friendly before league campaigns begin.

It follows Stotfold’s friendly at Renhold United on Saturday. They drew 2-2 at Stanway Rovers on Saturday, while a scheduled meeting with Eynesbury Rovers on Tuesday was postponed.

Stotfold are in FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round action at Wellingborough Town on Saturday, August 6 before making their SSML Premier bow at Hoddesdon Town on Wednesday, August 10.

Two more away fixtures follow before the first home league game against Leverstock Green on Saturday, August 20.

They host Biggleswade United on December 27.

Biggleswade United take on a Stevenage XI at Second Meadow in a friendly this Saturday ahead of ther FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round visit to Newport Pagnell Town next Saturday, August 6.

Their SSML Premier Division season opens with three home games - against Hadley on Tuesday, August 9, Edgware Town on August 13 and London Tigers on August 20.

Langford have two home friendlies ahead of their SSML Division One campaign.

They welcome Hadley on Saturday and Foxton on Tuesday, August 2.

The league begins with a home match against Harpenden Town on Tuesday, August 9. They then make the short visit to Baldock on Saturday, August 13 before home games against Broadfields on August 16 and Chesham United Reserves on August 27.

The festive fixture is at home to Biggleswade FC on Tuesday, December 27.
