Waders snap up Case and Joseph

Biggleswade Town boss Chris Nunn has swooped to sign midfielder Ricky Case from fellow Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central side Barton Rovers, writes Mike Simmonds.

The Waders manager was quick to act after the news that 12-goal Joel Mason will miss the Christmas period with injury.

Nunn said: “I felt we were an attacking midfielder short and Joel Mason, who was doing really well, has just picked up an injury.

“He was our top goalscorer so will be missed, but Ricky is a great lad and has trained really hard for us.”

Case isn’t the only new face as Nunn revealed he had signed unknown forward Scott Joseph.
