Four of todaay's games postponed

Only Arlesey and Biggleswade United's games beat the rain

Four of Chronicle Country's teams will have to sit this afternoon's action out as heavy overnight rain has caused more chaos for the fixture secretaries.

Biggleswade Town had worked hard on Friday to get the Carlsberg Stadium ready for today's home Southern League game with Stourport Swifts on but by this morning it was flooded.

Stotfold's home United Counties League game against Boston Town had also been doubt earlier in the week but Roker Park is now completely waterlogged as is Irchester's ground, so Potton United's players also get the afternoon off.

And it's the same story for Langford whose Spartan South Midlands League trip to Aylesbury has also fallen foul of the weather.

However the two games which are expected to go ahead are the Zamaratto League game at Atherstone involving Arlesey Town and the SSML game between Kingsbury London Tigers and Biggleswade United who learned that it would go ahead at 11am.
