Heritage Cup Final tonight
Biggleswade hope to dodge Thursday's showers
Biggleswade Town will face County League rivals Ampthill in the final of the Heritage Cup at The Hollow tonight (Thursday), the match starting at 6pm.
The Town also booked their second midweek final of the season when they beat cup holders Ickwell in the semi-final of the Hospital Cup on Monday.
They now meet the winners of tonight's other semi-final between Westfield and Queens Park at Bedford Modern School next Tuesday (July 8) at 6pm.
And next Monday (July 7) Biggleswade will start as firm favourites in the semi-final of the East Beds Senior Shield when they meet Caldecote at Henlow.
The final of the Senior Shield is also at Henlow two days later (Wednesday, July 9) while the other semi-final is between Flitwick and Eaton Socon is being played tomorrow (Friday), again at Henlow.
The Junior Shield competition is also at the semi-final stage with Potton 2nd XI meeting Eaton Socon 2nds in the first on Monday, July 14 while the other, between Flitwick 2nds and holders Henlow 2nds, is scheduled for next Monday and will be played at Cople.
The actual venue for the East Beds Juniot Final has yet to be decided but it will be on Wednesday, July 18.
