Athletes celebrate in style

A record number of 70 senior members attended Biggleswade AC’s annual presentation dinner at the Green Man in Stanford on Friday.

Following dinner, the club’s honorary secretary, Stuart Galloway welcomed everyone and provided all with a brief overview of the past 12 months.

The success of the ‘Little Bees’ group (8-10 year olds) has continued to grow since its inception in 2010 with more than 60 members compared to just 12 the previous year.

Meanwhile, the club also competed in round four of the Chiltern Cross Country League at Wigmore Park near Luton a fortnight ago.
