Fourth spot for Craig in first marathon

It was a superb first marathon experience for Biggleswade Athletic Club’s Craig Brown in the Stevange Marathon.

Although he found it tough going towards the end, he still managed to finish in fourth place in the marathon last weekend, clocking a fantastic time of 2.56.51hrs.

Also competing was fellow runner Ian Skerratt, a marathon veteran and legend at the club. His time of 3.44.34hrs earned him fourth in the male vet 60-69.

Biggleswade AC’s Juliet Naylor was the first lady to finish at the Lide Half Marathon in Cambridgeshire at the weekend.

Unfortunately, the route had to be reduced to 11 miles, but Naylor still managed a respectable time of 1.11.14hrs.
