Penalty kick sees Blues lose on Monday

But there's a busy night ahead of local clubs

A 58th minute penalty kick consigned Arlesey Town to a 1-0 Southern League defeat in the Midlands at Sutton Coldfield Town last night.

The Blues had been hoping to continue Saturday's good performance at Atherstone but they were left disappointed thanks to Marshall's successful spot kick.

Arlesey are in action again this Thursday when they host Bury Town at the Armadillo Stadium.

Tonight (Tuesday) Biggleswade Town are in Southern League action when they visit Soham Town Rangers while they make the short trip to Forde Park on Thursday to play Langford in the semi-final of the North Beds Charity Cup.

Also playing tonight are Biggleswade United who host Kentish Town at Second Meadow in the Spartan Soutn Midlands League while in Division One of the United Counties League, Potton United entertain Huntongdon Town at The Hollow.
