Reds win seven goal thriller on Thursday

Langford edge United out in Charity Cup tie

Langford booked their place in the semi-finals of the North Beds Charity Cup with a 4-3 win at a soaking Second Meadow on Thursday after their first round match against hosts Biggleswade United had been called off on Tuesday.

There were 73 spectators who saw a pulsating derby in which seven goals were scored, the Reds running out 4-3 winners with former Stotfold front man Kane Dougherty netting a hat-trick and Mark Wright the other while United's goalscorers were Bilal Hussain, Emanuel 'Mano' Langlais and Luke Lincoln.
