Biggleswade United's lead at the head of the league table is now down to three points, after their 100 per cent away record was halted by a 1-1 draw at Sharnbrook.
The home side still seeking their first win on home soil this campaign went ahead with a goal in the opening minute of the second half from Darren Minney before Matthew McCartney levelled matters 10 minutes later.
Up into second spot, and with two games in hand on United are Renhold United, 6-2 away winners at Westoning Recreation Club. Goals from Steve Daniels, Chris Huckle and Karl Anderson saw United lead 3-0 at the break, before home strikes from Ollie Summers and Luke Cunniff reduced the margin to just a single goal.
Yet it was to be United's day after Anderson netted from penalty spot to take them 4-2 ahead on 75 minutes before adding two further goals to take his own personal tally to four and United's to six by the final whistle.
Dunton who started the day in second spot, are now down into fourth slot after being beaten 4-2 at Wilshamstead, for whom it was a first home win of the campaign.
David Pugh gave the visitors an early lead only to be cancelled out on the half hour mark by a Michael Jones penalty that took the sides in at half-time all square at 1-1.
Within 10 minutes of the restart a brace of goals from Paul Jones had shot Wilshamstead 3-1 ahead, Nicky Threadgold brought the deficit back to a single goal 20 minutes from time only to see Jones complete his hat-trick two minutes later to seal the win for Wilshamstead.
Now up into third place are Campton, who following three consecutive league defeats bounce back to form with an 9-0 away win at bottom of the table Riseley Sports.
They were 4-0 ahead at the break thanks to two goals from Andrew Hayday plus strikes from Lee Bilcock and Dan Webb, the second period saw Hayday take his own tally up to four goals whilst Gary Gibson weigh in with a hat-trick to complete the rout.
For Blunham, it was a 2-0 home win over AFC Kempston Town, thanks to goals from Andy Smith and Michael Hutton, whilst Caldecote are still searching for their first home win of the campaign after being held to a 1-1 draw by Woburn.
Gareth Boness giving Caldecote the lead 15 minutes into the contest until Aaron Ripley levelled matters 15 minutes from time.
Division One
With leaders Caldecote Reserves sitting the afternoon out, Flitwick Town took full advantage to become the fourth club to top the table in as many weeks with a 4-2 home victory over Kempston.
Martin Byrne shooting The Town ahead on 15 minutes, only to see the visitors Jamie Carson level matters five minutes later, before a goal from Ryan Short took the Town back in front three minutes from the break.
The points then being sealed by strikes from Matt Bibby and Dean Warren to take The Town 4-1 clear until Carson added a second Kempston goal 10 minutes from time.
Also jumping above Caldecote Reserves in the table are both Marston Social and Leighton United who played out a dramatic 3-3 draw at Stanbridge Road.
With the score goalless at the break, two goals from Darren Rowlett plus a strike from Daniel Bullen took visitors Marston Social 3-0 ahead until in the closing 10 minutes goals from Simon Woolhead, Asim Munir and Jason Bartlett ensured the points would be shared.
Other Division One action saw Stevington end a run of five straight defeats with a point from a 2-2 home draw with Henlow.
Goals from Jake Rennie and Andy Newton taking Henlow into a 2-0 lead which was then reduced by an own goal two minutes from the break and cancelled out by a strike from John Devereux just a minute from the final whistle.
The days final action seeing Sandy despite a goal from Craig Baker go down to their fourth straight home defeat 3-1 at the hands of Meltis Albion.
Beds FA Intermediate Cup
First round ties in this seasons competition saw a lone goal from Michael Smith 15 minutes into the game earn AFC Kempston Town Reserves a 1-0 win at Campton Reserves, to earn them a home tie against St Joseph in round two.
Whilst Bedford Sports Athletic thanks to a goal from Darren Allen, which gave them a 1-0 win at Ickwell & Old Warden Reserves, will now be heading to face Crawley Green Reserves in Round Two.
It was the end of the road however for FC Meppershall, who had just a Jason Nice goal to show for a 6-1 defeat at Ampthill Town Reserves, while Kempston Hammers Sports were beaten 0-5 at home by Stotfold Reserves.
Meanwhile in a Round Two tie, Blunham Reserves had just a Domnic O'Lea goal to show for a 6-1 defeat at Arlesey Town Reserves.
Division Two
Bedford Hatters are the new leaders of the Division Two league table after they took full advantage of Potton Wanderers inactivity by winning 5-0 at Clifton.
The win stretching their unbeaten ways to eight games. Braces of goals from Scott Alleyne and Simon Pixley plus a strike from Aran Izzard doing the damage.
For third place Arlesey Social Galacticos, it was an extension to their unbeaten start to the campaign with a 3-0 victory at Marabese Ceramics, ahead with a goal from Lee Shambrook just a minute into the contest, they were to double the lead on 17 minutes via Ryan Dodson to lead 2-0 at the break.
Their early second half hero however was goalkeeper Craig Chadwick who beat away a home penalty from James Tizard, before Adam Millard put the game beyond recall with their third goal 15 minutes from time.
Also still unbeaten for the season and maintaining their 100 per cent away record for the campaign are Brache Sparta Community Reserves, 3-0 winners at Elstow Abbey to remain in fourth spot in the league standings.
Two goals from Edwin Anabaraonye and a strike from Richard Anderson sending the Abbey to their fourth consecutive league defeat.
Another club still very much in the promotion mix are fifth place Marston Shelton Rovers, the Rovers maintaining their seasons unbeaten home record with a 6-4 win over Kings AFC.
Xennon Paul leading the way with a hat-trick supported by goals from Sean McFarland, Anthony Henman and Charlie Standish against Kings replies from Rowan Hazelwood twice, Lee Morgan plus an own goal.
For Shefford Town it was a end to their five game losing run thanks to a 3-1 home victory over Great Barford. Goals from Dan Pinkerton, Tom Scurfield and Sean Deanus only being replied to by a Jason Amis penalty.
Yet Shillington remain on the bottom of the table after Kempston Royals came up with their first away win of the campaign 4-0, goalless at the break, two goals from Lorenzo Jordan plus strikes from Liam Boland and Jamie Marsh saw the visitors to the points.
The other scheduled game in this Division being postponed when Luton Old Boys failed to travel to face Harpur FC, the matter now placed into the hands of the leagues management committee for ruling.
Division Three
Action in Division Three saw Queens Park Crescents remain a point clear of Dunton Reserves at the head of the Division Three league table after netting a 3-0 home win over Caldecote A.
Ayaz Hussain netting twice and Mohammed Zahar once. Meanwhile, Dunton Reserves were 4-3 home victors over Westoning Recreation Club Reserves thanks to goals from Joe Lewis, Tom Burton, Craig Hill and Luke Gurney.
The Rec Boys replies coming via a Liam Boyle brace plus an own goal.
Dropping five points behind Dunton Reserves in the standings but still in third place in the league table are Renhold Village, who were held to a 1-1 home draw by Sandy Reserves.
It was a point that lifts the visitors three places off the bottom of the table. Michael Luke on the scoresheet for The Village against a reply from Leon Bryan.
The other scheduled fixture in this Division between Stopsley Park and Riseley Sports Reserves being postponed when the visitors fail to raise a side to travel.
Division Four
It is as you were at start of play at the head of the Division Four league table, after the top three sides all came up with wins.
League leaders Sundon Park Rangers running out 8-1 home winners over Flitwick Town Reserves, Luke Evans plus Nikki Buttegeig netting hat-tricks alongside a brace for Daniel Viola with the Town reply coming via Grant Tibbet.
They remain in pole position on goal difference from Sharnbrook Reserves, 4-1 winners at Stewartby Village. Darren Wallinger, Jayme Harris, Chris Moore and Darren Gough netting the goals against a home reply from Ben Sparks.
For third place M&DH Oakley, who trail the top two by just a single point but with a game in hand, it was a 3-1 home win over Clifton Reserves, Shaun Cafferty netting twice and Dan Ellision once against a Clifton reply from Sam McNaught.
Other action saw Thurleigh end a run of three straight defeats by sharing the spoils in a 3-3 home draw with Dinamo Flitwick, Steve Pledge twice and Paul Newton netting for the home side against Dinamo replies from Jason Hill, Dean Myers and Barrie Lee Hannam.
Elsewhere, Eastcotts secured a 5-2 home win over Kempston Athletic, Shane Wilson netting a hat-trick to go alongside goals from Craig Farley and Ciaran Alexander, whilst Gary Whitbread hit both of the Athletic replies.
Watson Shield Group Two
Division Three Lidlington United Sports opened their Watson Shield campaign in some style with a 3-0 home win over Division Four basement club Bedford Park Rangers.
Goals from Andrew Twomey, Chris Roberts and Darren Sims doing the damage.
