East Midlands suffered a heavy 53-8 defeat to Gloucestershire in their National U20 competition clash at Northampton BBOB last week.

The hosts, missing their Bedford Blues and Ampthill players, struggled to contain a side who were champions in 2008, 2009 and 2011 and beaten finalists last season.
