Castle Comedy Biggleswade will have Greg Burns lined up for the event at George’s Hall Bar & Grill.

Greg hosts London’s No.1 Drivetime show for Capital FM Radio.

He has been described by the event organisers as a very smooth operator with more than 10 years experience with material they descrived as clever and infectious.

He sold out his first solo West End comedy show at The Bloomsbury Theatre to critical acclaim.

Greg has appeared on The Comedy Store for Comedy Central, The 11 O’Clock Show on Channel Four as well as appearing in The Office Christmas special in a part written specifically for him by Ricky Gervais.

The Sunday Times said of him: “As loveable a comedian as you’re likely to find. Confident, funny and clever”

Comedy website Chortle said: “He’s a slick, sharp operator with plenty of well-crafted observational material guaranteed to please.”

Organisers of the event have said the shows sell out quickly, with the dinner and show tickets being particularly popular, so people are being advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

The doors open at 7.30pm with the show starting at 8pm.

Tickets are £8 and £6 for NUS card holders. People can also buy £18 tickets, which include a pre, show meal and glass of wine from the George’s Hall Bar & Grill.
