Four performers rise to occasion with Potton gig

The Rising Sun in Potton is hosting a night of music from four acts on Saturday.

A young up and coming singer songwriter from Hertfordshire Sophie Kitchener is making a name for herself having played at various venues.

Leon Bratt an up and coming singer songwriter from Bedfordshire. He has been playing the guitar since he was 16, he also plays the drums, the bass guitar, piano and the harmonica.

18-year-old Georgia Nevada is an up and coming country singer songwriter from Hertfordshire.

She has released one single called Loneliness and is working on her debut album. She takes her inspirations from the likes of country musicians Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves.

The final performers are St Clair an up and coming indie folk band from North Hertfordshire.

All the lyrics are written by singer songwriter Max Trense, who is the band’s lead vocalist. They both play electric and acoustic, but are performing an acoustic set for the gig.

They have released one independent four track EP called All Love Songs and hope to record a second EP later this year.

The music starts at 9pm and finishes about 11.30pm. Arrive from 8pm onwards to get a good seat. Entrance is free but donations are encouraged which goes to the musicians. For more info visit www.facebook.com/performerspints.
