Tribute to stars at Henlow music festival

The weather is warming up which means it's time to start thinking about the upcoming festival season.

Henlow Bridge Lakes is bringing one of biggest tribute festival Bedfordshire has seen in June this year.

On Friday June 24 and Saturday June 25, a weekend of music and entertainment will take place at the popular camping and fishing venue next to Arlesey railway station.

If you are a big fan of David Bowie, or mad about Madonna, then this festival is for you.

Listen to some of the classics from The Beatles, Queen and Simply Red, performed by the best tribute acts including a Robbie Williams lookalike who even performed with the man himself.

A great family weekend will be had by all as little ones can enjoy the bouncy castles and children’s disco while adults visit the stalls and licensed bars on site.

With more than 10 acts performing, there will be plenty of entertainment including local musicians Becky Phillips, Panic Attack and Corruption.

The festival opens on Friday from 12pm with music from the fantastic tribute acts starting at 3pm. It will finish on both days at 11pm.

Camping on the very popular Henlow Lakes campsite is included with the tickets and guests are welcome to stay until 3pm on the Sunday.

The event is for ticket holders only and tickets are just £70 per adult and £35 for children aged 5-16 years which includes weekend camping at the festival.
