A TALENTED singer has reached the regional finals of a national competition.
Louise Arnold, who lived in Sandy before moving to north west London two years ago, was one of two singers to reach this stage of the Open Mic UK 2011 contest after auditioning in Bedford.
She is now hoping for a place at the national final in London’s O2 Arena and the chance to grab a breakthrough recording contract.
Louise, 28, said: “I’ve not entered before but I recorded a lot of music last year and friends have encouraged me to step up a gear and promote myself. I thought I might give it a go.”
The regional final will take place at Bedford Corn Exchange on Sunday, October 23. To hear her sing visit www.reverbnation.com/louisearnold
