Glorious Gloria tries to put on a triumph

The fictional village of Little Hapnin is the star of a play in three acts to be performed by Meppershall Players.

What’s Hapnin tells the tale of the village’s drama group who fearlesly rehease anything and everything they can think of.

Despite all the obstacles placed before them. One of the groups biggest obstacles(other than Gloria) is the ambitious productions they try to perform, ably assisted by their long suffering village hall caretaker Harry.

Will their various productions reach the pinnacle of perfection invisaged by Gloria? Or go horribly wrong, like most of their productions.

Will Harry soldier on, or become just one more casualty of the Little Hapnin Player’s Theatricals?

The show is a comedy by Karen Mitchell, directed by Charlotte Goddard and is staged on Friday June 17 and Saturday June 18 at Meppershall Village Hall. The entertainment starts at 7.45pm.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £8 for concessions and hey can be beought from Roger’s Bakery in Meppershall on 01462 813398. Some tickets will also be available on the door.

Friday night will see The Meppershall Players raising funds with money donated to the Shefford Methodist Church Raise the Roof campaign.
