Water skier celebrates medals
Charlotte Wharton a former Sandy Upper School Student from Potton, recently stormed her way to a trio of medals in the European Water Ski Championships in Norway.
Charlotte won a bronze medal in slalom, a silver medal in overall and a gold medal in jump. She beat some really tough European competition to add this trio of medals to her previous World and European medals. Not only did she win she also jumped a new British national record of 47.7 metres .
Charlotte has recently graduated from University of Lafayette with an honours degree in finance and has to put her water skiing career on the back burner as she starts a graduate job for a Letchworth Accountancy firm.
