The exhibition launches on June 19 at 7pm.

There is no specific end date for the exhibition, but the hope is to hold a physical exhibition in the not-too-distant future.

The online version is likely to remain available throughout the summer until the new term begins in September.

Ruth Page, from the art and design department East Sussex College Hastings, said: “The exhibition showcases student work from ten courses, including seven UAL courses Level 1 through to Foundation Diploma as well as three A Level courses.

“The exhibition brings together the work of over 300 students. Further to this the website showcases projects and work experiences that the students have been engaged with in the past year and presents the new issue, and an archive of, The Tabloid, ESCH newspaper showcasing life and creativity at the Hastings campus and beyond. We invite you to sign up now via wethefuture.co.uk to receive all the latest info.

“Our students have been working hard in isolation in bedrooms, kitchens and in gardens: their make-shift home studios. Their resilience and commitment to creating exceptional work deserve to be celebrated and as such we have created an online virtual exhibition as a means to showcase their fantastic work.

“Our annual end-of-year show is always a fantastic event and this show is no different. We are humbled by the students ability to find creative solutions to their problems, resourcefulness in finding materials and dedication to their art.”
