Concerts continue at Leighton Buzzard Theatre
LEIGHTON Buzzard Music present two brilliant young award-winning artists at the Lake Street venue on Saturday, November 12.
Bulgarian clarinettist Boyan Ivanov and Australian pianist Olivia Sham are both winners of the prestious Philip & Dorothy Green Award for Young Concert Artists.
Their recital will feature music by Weber,Bizet, Debussy, Poulenc and Leonard Bernstein and others. Themes from Bizet’s opera Carmen appear in a stunning Fantasy arranged by the virtuoso violinist Sarasate. Olivia, a prize-winning solo pianist in her own right will play the dazzling Petrarch Sonnet 104 by Liszt.
