Enjoy a rock and roll Christmas!

Solo acoustic artist Nick Moyster will be joined by covers band Khorosho and rockers Tequilla Mockingbird at the Red Lion pub.

Blues fans in Chronicle Country will also be in for a treat this last weekend before Christmas.

Blues rock outfit J9Blues will be appearing at Potton & District Club tonight (Friday).

In the words of the band themselves they play ‘no nonsense British rhythm and blues laid bare to the bone and built on a back line that is as tight as two coats of paint.’

New wave and punk, meanwhile will be the style at the Rose pub in Biggleswade, also tomorrow, when the Synthetix play there.

Anyone who finds him or herself in the mood for dancing might like to head down to the Cornerstone pub in Shefford tomorrow.

The Mighty Wonderfuls will be bringing their show to town, promising a feel-good 1970s disco vibe with some soul, reggae and ska thrown in for good measure.

Those who may be looking for a Christmas Eve party should look no further than the Coach & Horses in Stotfold on Tuesday, where there will be a Disco Inferno.
