It’s true – the Mak is back

A unique blend of musical genres will be heard at one Chronicle Country pub when a long-running night returns on Friday (May 10).

Performers and Pints in Potton has become a stand-out fixture in the area’s musical calendar, and not without good reason.

Promoter and performer Will Mak is an accomplished musician himself, and has released a well-rated debut album, Run this Race.

Joining Will at the Red Lion pub in Potton will be Alex Holmes, soulful, bluesy duo the Hired Gunns, country musician Crissie Rhodes and soulsters James & Gemma. The music starts at 8pm.

A high energy indie and rock covers band will also be coming to Stotfold on Friday.

Catch Allergy at The Mill in the town from 9pm.

There will be good time rhythm and blues at The Wrestlers pub in Langford on Saturday (May 11), meanwhile, courtesy of Tie One On.

There will be Irish folk at Potton & District Club on Saturday when the O Reelys perform there.

Soul classics will be heard at the Old Oak in Arlesey on the same night when the Soul Man sings at the venue.

The Rock Factor at Meppershall Village Hall will combine music and fundraising on Saturday, from 8pm.
