Potton Music Festival

A date for your diary is the Marais Ensemble’s Potton Music Festival, which runs from Friday, August 15 to Sunday, August 17.

The first concert is on the Friday at 8pm in St John the Baptist Church in Cockayne Hatley. It will feature music by Mozart, Britten, Villa Lobos and Jackson. Tickets are £13/£10.

On the Saturday morning at 11am the musicians will give a family concert at Burgoyne Middle School in Potton. Tickets cost £6/£4.

That evening there will be two concerts in St Mary’s Church in Potton.

The first, at 7.30pm, features the music of Poulenc, Bartok and Schubert and costs £13/£10 while the second at 10.15pm is entitled Late Night Bach and entry is free.

The final concert will take place at 4pm on the Sunday in All Saints Church in Sutton. The music will be by Danzi, Zemlinsky, Stravinsky and Bartok. Tickets are £13/£10 and under 16s get in free.

A golden ticket for every performance costs £30/£23.
