Savour some soul this summer

Everyone loves some good time soul music, and for that requirement the Roundabout Club in Sandy will be the place to go this weekend.

Regular Chronicle Country performer the Soul Man will be singing some of the finest soul songs ever to be recorded at the venue on Friday (June 28).

Pop and rock tracks from all around will be heard at the Gardener’s Arms pub in Biggleswade on Friday, meanwhile.

Jessie J, Rihanna and Katie Perry are just some of the acts that modern covers five piece Fuel pay tribute to.

Rock covers will be on the agenda at the Wheatsheaf in Gamlingay, also on Friday, courtesy of Orbital Kaos.

Experienced five-piece covers band Khorosho will also be playing some rock cuts of choice at the Red Lion in Biggleswade on Saturday (June 29).

The delightfully named Devil’s Mojo will be performing covers and original tracks at Potton & District Club on Saturday, with genres ranging from ska and blues to rock and pop.

Contemporary British soul mixed with some cool 1970s grooves will be heard at the Bird in Hand in Lower Stondon on Saturday, when soul, funk and disco outfit 360 play there.
