Eternal Love is in the air as Valentine’s Day beckons

The Marlowe Society is celebrating the 450th anniversary of playwright Christopher Marlowe’s birth with a production of his most famous work, Doctor Faustus.

Watch it at Cambridge Arts Theatre tonight (Friday)at 7.45pm and tomorrow at 2.30pm and 7.45pm. Tickets cost from £15 for adults and £12.50 for students.

From Thursday to Saturday, February 8 the theatre will show the English Touring Theatre’s production of Eternal Love by Howard Brenton (pictured).

Performances are at 7.45pm each evening plus there is a matinee at 2.30pm on the Saturday.

Bedford Comedy Club is back with all the laughs in Bedford Corn Exchange’s Harpur Suite tonight.

It starts at 9pm and tickets cost £10 in advance and £11 on the door.

On Wednesday the Philharmonia Orchestra will perform in the corn exchange’s main auditorium. Nicholas Collon will conduct the music of Britten and Vaughan Williams from 7.30pm. Tickets cost from £12.

From Wednesday to Saturday, February 8 the production is Alan Ayckbourn’s Absent Friends. Performances are at 7.45pm each evening plus at 2.30pm on the Thursday and Saturday. Tickets cost from £16.
