It’s 9 minutes and 39 seconds before the water polo final and the audience has to compete.

The narrators interact with the audience using motivational speeches, projections and live sound mixing to encourage the twelve potential team mates to play.

What do you need to know about the people in a room to make you feel like a team? What would you ask, what would you tell and what difference does any of it make?

Non zero one’s work explores the relationship between performer and participant, discovers ways in which ties can be made and broken, how power can be won and lost, and how experiences can be shared or made deeply personal, both during and after the performance.
