Beware of a bogus caller, police warn

RESIDENTS should be extra cautious about giving out information over the telephone.

Bedfordshire Police have received reports of bogus phone calls from a man posing as a police officer. He told residents that a warrant is out for their arrest and that their house will be raided. Fortunately the six people who contacted the did not give out any personal details to the hoax caller. You should not give out personal information over the phone or to anyone who calls at your home unsolicited.
