Biggleswade bingo player wins £50,000

One lucky Biggleswade bingo player at Flutters Bingo received an unexpected boost to their regular Monday evening at the club, when they called house on a life changing £50,000 jackpot on the National Bingo Game.

The lucky bingo player, who was playing on their own, is a regular at the club and has asked to remain anonymous. On Monday 7 January, while playing at the evening session, all their numbers came up on the National Bingo Game and they scooped the top prize of a whopping £50,000 as well as the club prize for the game.

The winner said it was only just starting to sink in and they still had no idea what they might do with their windfall.

Martin Redmond, manager at Flutters Bingo Biggleswade said: “It was a regular quiet Monday evening session, when suddenly it became anything other than regular: the atmosphere changed instantly, as soon as the £50,000 jackpot win was confirmed and there was a buzz in the evening too, as players talked about the win.

“Our lucky jackpot winner came back in later in the week for their usual session. It was great to have such a big win.”
