A seven-year-old pupil had her long locks cut off in front of school pals and staff at Sutton VA Lower School to raise funds for the Little Princess Trust, which helps provide wigs for poorly children.
Blythe Day had three plaits of her hair trimmed off on Wednesday, March 23 and has so far raised £382.
Her mum Kelly said: “Blythe now has a new bob haircut and is enjoying her new look and thinking about what charity she would like to raise money for next year. She is a very kind and loving 7-year-old who has made her family extremely proud.”
Last year Blythe did a sponsored swim to raise £260 for Save the Children, to help children affected by Ebola.
